William Fry has appointed Liam McCabe as its new Chairman. Liam is currently Head of William Fry’s Projects Department and succeeds John Larkin, who has held the role since October 2016.
Liam, a Partner at William Fry since 2000, specialises in the structuring of complex projects across all sectors and has played a significant role in many of the largest capital projects undertaken in Ireland. Liam is one of the leading professionals in Ireland in the projects field. His practice involves leading and managing multi-disciplinary teams in large projects. For many years, Liam has been a close and trusted advisor to a number of senior business figures.
Bryan Bourke, William Fry’s Managing Partner, commented: “I welcome Liam’s election to the role of Chairman. Liam served as a member of our firm’s Executive Committee for several years, and has long held senior leadership roles in our firm. During his tenure as Chairman, Liam will maintain his client work and will continue to lead William Fry’s Projects Department. After stepping down, John Larkin will remain as one of the law firm’s senior partners and Head of the Insurance & Reinsurance Department.
