Stephen Keogh formally takes up role as Managing Partner

We are delighted to announce that Stephen Keogh has formally taken up the role of Managing Partner of William Fry. Stephen succeeds Owen O’Sullivan who returns to the Firm’s market-leading Litigation & Investigations practice.

Stephen joined William Fry as a trainee in 1997 and has previously held the roles of Head of London Office and most recently Head of Corporate/M&A Department. His strong business acumen and commercial approach are widely recognised and his leadership is expected to assist the Firm in continuing to provide outstanding service to its clients.

Speaking on his appointment to the role of Managing Partner, Stephen said: I’m delighted to have the opportunity to build on William Fry’s reputation for delivering first-class Irish legal and tax advice, based on our specialist expertise, our experience and our desire always to find solutions for our clients.  I’m incredibly proud of the talent, the knowledge and the work ethic of our people – the cornerstone of our success for over 175 years – and I’m honoured and excited to lead the Firm.”

William Fry Chairman, Liam McCabe, said: “I congratulate Stephen on his appointment which is a milestone in both his personal and professional life. I very much look forward to working closely with him during his tenure as Managing Partner. Stephen is taking up this position at a time when the Firm is extremely well positioned to take advantage of the many opportunities afforded by a buoyant Irish economy. Stephen is renowned for his commercial approach and strong business acumen and I have every confidence that his leadership will greatly benefit our people as they continue to provide outstanding service to our domestic and international clients, across all sectors.”
