Michael Quinn, a senior Partner in William Fry’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution Department, has been appointed a judge of the High Court of Ireland.
Michael, who led the Firm’s Corporate Restructuring & Insolvency practice, joined William Fry as a Trainee in 1982 and became a Partner in the Firm in 1994. He is best known as a leading practitioner and adviser to liquidators, receivers, examiners, administrators, trustees, financial institutions, investors and creditors across the spectrum of bankruptcy, restructuring, commercial litigation and dispute resolution. In 2007 he served as President of INSOL Europe (the European Association of Insolvency Practitioners).
Commenting on the announcement, John Larkin, Chairman of William Fry, stated, “We are delighted for Michael and wish him every success in his new position.
